Indonesia – The Minister of Maritime Affairs on board the Mobula 8

The SeaCleaners was honored to receive the official visit from the Indonesian Minister of Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan. He boarded our cleanup boat Mobula 8 prior to its official inauguration on March 20.

On Friday, March 10, at 10:00 a.m., The SeaCleaners team in Indonesia was honored to receive an official visit from the Indonesian Minister of Maritime Affairs, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan, at our office in the port of Benoa.

He reiterated the Indonesian government’s commitment to the fight against plastic pollution and its support for The SeaCleaners’MAPP Mobula Against Plastic Pollution program..

Luhut Binsar Panjaitan took the opportunity to board our cleanup boat Mobula 8 before its official inauguration on March 20.

The SeaCleaners thanksKemenko Marves – Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investments for its support. In Indonesia, The SeaCleaners’ actions are implemented in line with the Indonesian government’s anti-pollution plastic strategy, under a Memorandum of Understanding signed in July 2022 between our NGO and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Investment of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Mobula 8 will be inaugurated in Bali on March 20th and will officially start operating in the region.
